Besides your PC you will need:
a signature card, or digital ID, and a smart card
reader
(both obtainable from your Trust Centre)
Load your e-mail program ...
and
insert
your
digital ID
...
Now compose your e-mail ...
... click on the «Nachricht signieren » (Sign) icon ...
... and if you want to encrypt it as well, ...
... click on
«Nachricht verschlüsseln » (Encrypt message) too ...
... and your e-mail is ready to send.
Now you must confirm that you want to sign
digitally ...
... enter your
PIN ...
And that's it.
Your
e-mail has been digitally signed
and sent.
You've received a
digitally signed e-mail ...
... and want to verify the signature ...
Is your ID still in the reader? ...
Open the
mail as
usual,
with a ...
double click
And you'll
have the
result of the
check
straightaway!
